Ministry Teams

Christ Community Church is a worshiping community that seeks to be the very presence of Christ in word, deed, and lifestyle - following Christ in mission to a beautiful and broken community, and through our community, the world.  We will do this through ministry teams.      

Mercy and Justice Team.We believe the proclamation of the gospel is inseparable from active concerns for mercy and justice.  We will establish partnerships with community organizations within the Diablo Valley that are actively seeking to serve the physical and spiritual needs of individuals and families.  Contact Olga Lah*:  925-935-9041 or olgalah@gmail.com

Kids Place Team. We desire to continue to build our Kid's Place into a ministry that models Christ's love for children through teaching that is engaging, fun and life changing.  Our prayer is that we build our Kid's Place Team to be able to facilitate and care for 50+ children in 2008.  Contact Allan Go*:  925-299-8912 or  asgmd1@yahoo.com

Youth (Middle and High School) Team.This team is in the building stage.  The objective if this team is to firmly establish a ministry presence in the middle and high schools that our youth attend through a variety of methods.  Contact Ken Brown*:  925-943-7508 or ken.brown@ca.astound.net

Connections Team. This team seeks to create multiple ways to connect with not only church members, but, with family members, acquaintances, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.  We will do this through a variety of women's, men's and all-church events.  Contact Ken Brown*:  925-943-7508 or ken.brown@ca.astound.net

Welcome and Follow-up Team. We desire to establish a new team that will assist those new to our church in making connections, feeling welcomed, joining a community group, or attending a connection event.  The team will establish a system for contacting visitors in a timely fashion, ensuring people know they are welcomed and valued.  Contact Jan Werson*:  925-817-0115 or janwerson@comcast.net
